Dogtown Rules: Ensuring a Safe and Happy Environment
-
All dogs must be current on vaccinations and in good health. We require:
- Bordetella
- Distemper/Parvo
- Rabies (over 6 months)
- Annual clear fecal and Giardia test
- All dogs must be current on flea treatment. If any fleas are present on your dog, they will be treated with Frontline® or a comparable product and you will be charged accordingly.
- Please refrain from bringing your dog if they are ill, ie vomiting, coughing, limping or have open wounds or excessive diarrhea. If your dog becomes ill, they will be removed to a private area for the health and safety of all and we will contact you to pick them up. We appreciate your understanding to these health issues.
- Nails must be kept short. They can cause injury to your dog, other dogs and damage to the flooring. You will be given one warning if your dog’s nails are too long, then they will be dremmeled and you will be charged accordingly.
- Dogs must enter wearing a flat collar (nylon or leather) or harness with identifying tags. Collars and harnesses will be removed during daycare playtime for safety. Chain, prong and electric collars are not allowed on our premises at any time.
- In order to maintain our facility grounds clean and sanitary, please clean up after your dog.
- Payment is due at the time of drop-off. We accept cash, check, Visa and MasterCard.
- Daycare packages DO NOT guarantee services without a reservation. In order to provide for all the dogs that may want to come and play, you must cancel current reservations prior to 8am or be charged for that day.
- Daycare hours are 7am-6pm, Monday through Friday, and 10am-6pm, Saturday. Daycare pickups after 6pm will be charged $1 per minute up to 15 minutes, then your dog will be fed and accommodations will be made for an overnight stay and boarding charges will apply in addition to their daycare cost. Dogs left on Saturday can be picked up on Monday.
- Daycare packages expire after 6 months, and are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- When Boarding, please bring enough food, from home, for the duration of your dogs stay, plus some additional due to the fact that the dogs play so much that they may need additional food. We would be happy to feed your dog one of our quality foods while they stay with us for an additional fee. However, it is less stressful for your dog to stay on their same diet.
